Sacred Path with Hyapatia Lee

Hyapatia Lee is one of the premier authorities on Native American methods of self-help for emotional strength. As a registered member of the Southeastern Cherokee Council, Inc., she held the position of Blessed Woman for the Lost River Band where some of her responsibilities included conducting sweat lodges and healing ceremonies, leading singing and drumming circles and teaching the Cherokee language. She is a frequent pow-wow dancer and has danced in the Sundance ceremony.

Hyapatia wrote “The Ribald Tales of Canterbury,” an adaptation of Chaucer’s famed “Canterbury Tales” which was the most expensive X-rated movie ever made. She also wrote many of the other movies she starred in when she was involved in that business. In 1990 she received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Free Speech Coalition. She is a member of both the X-Rated Critics Organization and Adult Video News Halls of Fame and was voted Actress of the Year in 1990 by the X-Rated Critics Organization.

In 1994 she appeared in the movie “Killing Obsession” working opposite John Savage who starred in “The Deer Hunter” and “The Godfather.” Hyapatia’s other R-rated movie credits include “Hellroller” and “Dr.Boris and Nurse Shirley.
